LEARN TO FISH

Good to know
before you begin.

Learn to Fish: Fishing Basics is a learning companion for adult beginners. This website introduces the app and lets you try a sample lesson.

Learning and practice

The sample lesson is an introduction to basic fishing equipment. It does not assess practical skill or award a qualification. Building practical skills takes hands-on practice with appropriate equipment and conditions.

Your time on the water

Check the rules, permits, access conditions and weather that apply to your chosen location. Learn to Fish: Fishing Basics teaches fishing and does not provide location-specific legal advice or a fishing permit.

App availability and subscriptions

The mobile app is being prepared for iOS and Android. This website does not offer downloads, purchases or a confirmed release date. Five introductory lessons are planned to be free, with weekly and yearly subscriptions for further content. Store pricing and purchase terms will be displayed before any purchase.
